Kassako was started by someone who spent years managing development projects, and who ended up running the homeowner care side of one.
The repairs were never what made it difficult
Before Kassako, our founder worked as a development manager, carrying projects from site acquisition through to delivery. Part of that job was owning what happens after handover — the homeowner calls, the deficiency list, the trades who had already moved on to the next site.
Coordinating a handyman for twenty minutes of work in someone's kitchen, then fielding the call asking when somebody was actually coming, is a full-time job that cannot justify a full-time hire. It always lands on whoever is least able to drop what they are doing.
So we built the thing we wanted to hire. Crews who do the work, and one person who owns the job from the moment it is reported until you can see it is done.
Three standards we hold
Tell you the truth about timing
If we cannot hit your possession date we say so before you book us, not the day before. A schedule you can plan around is worth more than an optimistic one.
Never surprise you on an invoice
Anything outside the agreed scope comes back to you priced, before we touch it. No line item you have to go and explain to somebody else.
Report our own misses
If we are late or something needs doing twice, it is on the report we send you. A report that only contains good news is not information.
